It's Valentine's Day, and I Don't Care

Call me unsentimental or unromantic all you want; I think Valentine's Day is kinda dumb. My husband thinks he is the luckiest man in the world that he doesn't have to go and spend tons of money on flowers and candy just for this one holiday!! He buys me flowers all year round, and it makes me so happy to get them when I least expect it. It means more to me to receive something just because he is thinking about me than for him to have to do on this one particular day. So I don't think we are unromantic at all. We are just romantic with each other for the entire year.

Yes!!! I feel the same way, although I am not dating or married, I think it is so silly, because then you don't really feel like they did something just because, but it's more out of obligation. I'm glad you feel the way I do! God bless your ministry in Germany! -Lindsey <><

You may call me lame, but I would say that after twelve years of marriage, it is kind of nice to have a "required" romance day.

It's like learning German. Theoretically you could do it yourself with just a book but it is nice to have the structure and expectations of a teacher and class.

So also with Valentine's Day. It's an opportunity for the greeting card, flower, and chocolate industries to kind of kick you in the back side and move you in the right direction.
